Chapter 3.10 FLOYD VALLEY URBAN RENEWAL TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT
Section 3.10.070 Rule of Construction.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
The provisions of this Ordinance are intended and shall be construed so as to continue the division
of taxes
from property within the Floyd River Urban Renewal Sub-area under the provisions of Section 403.19 of
the Code of Iowa, as authorized in Ordinance No. 90/T-6353, and Chapter 3.10 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Sioux City, and to fully implement the provisions of Section 403.19 of the Code of Iowa
with
respect to the division of taxes from property within the Hoeven Valley Urban Renewal Sub-area as
described above. In the event that any provision of this Ordinance shall be determined to be contrary
to law
it shall not affect other provisions or application of this Ordinance which shall at all times be construed
to
fully invoke the provisions of Section 403.19 of the Code of Iowa with reference to the Combined Floyd
River Urban Renewal Area, and each Sub-area thereof, and the territory contained therein. (Ord. 2003-0777)
