Chapter 4.123 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL
Section 4.123.020 Eligibility for a Liquor Control License, Wine Permit or Beer Permit.
1. Section 123.30 of the Code of Iowa is hereby adopted by reference.
2. The premises for which a Class "B" Beer Permit is sought must be
located within a business district or
in an area now or hereafter zoned as a Business District and conform to the zoning requirements of this
city.
3. The premises of a Class "B" Beer Permit shall, at the time of the
application, continue to be equipped
with sufficient tables and seats to accommodate twenty-five persons at one time.
4. No booth shall be permitted or used unless they are entirely open at one
side with an unobstructed
view therefrom from the rest of the room.
5. The place of business shall be lighted so that all objects are plainly visible
at all times and all parts at
such place of business are illuminated to a minimum of two footcandles, as measured by a footcandle
meter
at a plane of thirty (30) inches above the floor. (Ord. 92/U-274)
