Chapter 4.123 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL
Section 4.123.030 Application Contents.
1. Section 123.31 of the Code of Iowa is hereby adopted by reference.
2. According to the applicable circumstances, the following must be submitted
along with the application
for an initial or renewal liquor control license, wine permit or beer permit:
a. An applicant who owns the premises to be benefited
by a license or permit shall provide a file
stamped copy of the recorded deed of ownership;
b. An applicant who is purchasing such premises on contract
shall provide a file stamped copy of the
recorded contract of purchase;
c. An applicant who is leasing such premises shall submit
a copy of the lease signed by both Lessor
and Lessee. Such lease must not expire before the conclusion of the license.
3. Owners of licensed establishments other than Class "C" beer permittees,
may apply for and receive
permission to sell and dispense alcoholic liquor and wine to patrons on Sunday for consumption on the
premises only, and beer for consumption on or off the premises between the hours of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday
and 2:00 a.m. on the following Monday. For the privilege of selling beer, wine, and alcoholic
liquor on the
premises on Sunday, the liquor control license fee of the applicant, except for Class "E"
beer permittees,
shall be increased by 20% of the regular fee prescribed by the license pursuant to Iowa Code, and the
privilege shall be noted on the liquor control license. (Ord. 92/U-274)
