Chapter 4.123 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL
Section 4.123.100 Persons under legal age.
1. Subsection 123.47(2) of the Code of Iowa is hereby adopted by reference.
2. This prohibition does not apply to persons assisting in investigations conducted
by the police
department.
3. A person who is under legal age, other than a licensee or permittee, who
violates this section regarding
the purchase of or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor, wine, or beer, or possessing or having control
of
alcoholic liquor, wine, or beer, commits a simple misdemeanor punishable as defined in Section 1.04.100.
However, this section shall not apply if a person who is under legal age, other than a licensee or permittee,
violates this section a second or subsequent time. (Ord. 2007-0559, 98/U-6823;
