Chapter 4.14 TEMPORARY OUTDOOR CIRCUSES, CARNIVALS, EXHIBITIONS AND SHOWS
Section 4.14.050 Licenses- Fees and performance bond.
A proper license shall be issued upon satisfactory application being made, filing of the performance
bond
and payment of the license fees as provided as follows:
1. Fees.
for circuses $65.00 per day
for carnivals $65.00 per day
for exhibitions, shows or side shows $25.00 per day
for other public amusements or for exhibitions for which
no specific fee is stated $25.00 per day
for inspection of temporary on-site living units, toilet
facilities and trash receptacles $35.00
2. Cash Performance Bond. The applicant shall deposit with the city the
sum of one thousand dollars as a
performance bond, conditioned upon satisfactory compliance with the provisions of this chapter in the
conduct of the event licensed pursuant to this chapter. This bond may be used by the city to defray
expenses it incurs in cleaning the site or repairing public facilities, or in keeping or restoring order. Such
bond shall be returned to the applicant no less than seven days after cessation of the event. (Ord.
