Chapter 4.44 SALVAGE OPERATORS

Section 4.44.050 License - Fee.

    1. The application for a salvage operator's license shall be accompanied by an annual license fee of $140.00 to be paid to the city.

    2. All licenses issued hereunder shall be effective from the date of issuance to and including the thirty-first day of December next succeeding the date of issuance.  The license fee set forth above shall be prorated on a quarterly basis from the date of issuance to the time of expiration.

    3. In the event an application for license or renewal of license is denied, the license fee shall be refunded to the applicant, and in the event an applicant terminates his business and surrenders his license the unexpired portion of the license shall be refunded on a quarterly basis, unless the unexpired portion is less than twenty-five percent of the total annual license fee.
