Section 4.44.070 License - Renewal.

    1. Licenses may be renewed in the same manner and under the same conditions as originally issued  hereunder.  Applications for renewal of salvage dealer's licenses should be submitted to the city at least thirty days prior to the expiration of the license then in effect.
    2. When renewal of a license is denied, the salvage dealer previously licensed under the provisions of this chapter shall have a period of six months immediately after such denial in which to conclude his business and dispose of his salvage during which time the salvage dealer shall be required to comply with all the terms and conditions of the ordinances of the city, except the licensing requirements of this chapter.  In the event litigation is pending contesting the denial or revocation of a license, the city manager may grant an extension of time during which the salvage dealer may operate pending the final outcome of such litigation.  (Ord. 98/U-6342; 84/T-2557)
