1. Any solicitation for proposals for granting of a franchise hereunder by the city of Sioux City will refer to and incorporate the ordinance codified in this chapter by reference.

    2. No franchise shall be granted under this chapter without the approval of a majority of the electors of the city of Sioux City, Iowa, voting at a special franchise ordinance election.  (Ord. S-35454, 1978)
