Section 4.70.350 Request for removal or change.

    1. The franchisee shall, at the request of the person holding a building moving permit issued under the provisions of this code, temporarily raise or lower its wires to permit the moving of such building.  The expense of such temporary removal, raising or lowering of wires, shall be paid by the person requesting the same, and the franchisee shall have the authority to require such payment in advance.  The franchisee shall be given not less than five days advance notice of any move contemplated to arrange for temporary wire changes.
    2. The city shall notify the franchisee at least ten days prior to the intention of the city to commence any construction in the streets that requires the relocation of franchisee's lines, wires or other network appurtenances so as not to interfere with such construction.
    3. In the event continued use of a street is denied to the franchisee by the city for any valid reason, the franchisee shall provide service to affected subscribers over alternate routes within a reasonable period of time.
    4. Under termination of service to any subscriber, the franchisee shall promptly remove all of its facilities and equipment from the premises of such subscriber upon his written request.  (Ord. S-35454, 1978)
