Section 5.20.070 Removal of solid waste materials and yard waste.

After notice is given by the city manager or his designated representative of the time when solid waste materials and yard waste are to be removed from any area or areas within the city, it shall thereupon become the duty of every owner of every premises in the city within that area or areas as may be specified in the notice to place appropriate receptacles or bundles at the curb or edge of the street abutting the premises at such point as is most convenient for removal; provided, however, if the premises abut an alley which is paved or which can be traveled in inclement weather, then, if the city manager or his designated representative so authorizes, receptacles containing solid waste materials or yard waste shall be placed at a point adjacent to the alley which will permit convenient collection.
