Section 5.20.100 Collection from commercial premises.

1. Collection and removal of solid waste materials and yard waste from commercial premises is permissible in either of the two following ways:

a. By the owner when removing solid waste materials or yard waste from his own establishment or by persons employed by the owner of the premises where the function of removing solid waste materials or yard waste is incidental to the person's regular employment;

b. By private refuse collectors operating in accordance with the regulations set forth in this chapter.

2. Unless more frequent collection and removal is required elsewhere in this chapter, the owner of premises described in this section shall have garbage which accumulates on the premises removed at least twice a week, shall have rubbish which accumulates on the premises removed at least every two weeks, and shall have the yard waste which accumulates on the premises removed at least every two weeks on a seasonal basis as set forth under subsection 5.20.080-3.
