Chapter 7.03 ANIMAL CONTROL
Section 7.03.115 Releasing or molesting animals.
No person, except the owner of an animal or an authorized agent, shall willfully or without
permission or
authority open any door or gate on any private or public premises resulting in the releasing or enticing
or
enabling any such animal to leave such private or public premises. No person shall willfully molest,
tease
provoke or mistreat an animal. However, a police officer or designee may remove and impound, for
medical observation purposes, any animal that has scratched or bitten anyone. (Ord. 2007-0100)
