Section 8.24.310 Bell ringing.

No person shall ring or sound, or cause to be rung or sounded, in or upon, or near any street, avenue, alley or public place, or upon any piazza, porch, balcony, steps or platform, any bell, gong or other sounding instrument as a means of attracting people to any auction store, hotel or any other business place without first procuring the written consent of the city manager.
