Chapter 8.32 INTERFERING WITH OFFICER
Section 8.32.060 False reports to law enforcement authorities and fire department.
It is unlawful for any person to report or cause to be reported false information
to a fire
department or a law enforcement authority, knowing that the information is false, or to report the
alleged occurrence of a criminal act or fire, knowing the same did not occur.
It is also unlawful for any person to provide false information to a fire department
or a law
enforcement authority regarding their name, age, or social security number. (Ord. 97/U-5613; S-34775,
