Section 8.48.030 Hunting Prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt any game, animal, or bird within the corporate limits of the city, except upon permission granted therefore by the city manager or his designated agent, which permit shall specify the time, place, purpose, type of firearm and ammunition to be used and the person to whom permission is granted.

For purposes of this section, "hunt" is the pursuing, or any hunting, killing, searching for or shooting at, stalking or lying in wait for any game, animal or bird whether or not such animal be then subsequently captured, killed or injured, if the person possesses a dangerous weapon or offensive weapon as defined in chapter 8.04 of this code.
