Section 8.60.030 Penalties.

    1. Any minor under the age of eighteen years who violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor, and is subject to arrest. Upon such arrest, the minor shall be taken and delivered into the hands of his parent, guardian, or other person having the care, custody, and control of that minor, or, in the alternative, the minor may be detained at the juvenile detention facility and his or her parent, guardian, or other person having the care, custody, and control of that minor notified to come for such child.
    2. Any parent, guardian or other adult person having the care, custody, and control of a minor, who violates Section 8.60.020 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $200 or by imprisonment not to exceed thirty (30) days in jail.
    3. Any person, firm, or corporation who violates Section 8.60.025 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished according to the provisions of section 1.04.100(1). (Ord. 99-8132; 89/T-8032)
