Downtown Quiet Zone Expansion Takes Effect January 30
The remaining portion of the Downtown Quiet Zone covering Jackson Street, Virginia Street, Court Street, and Iowa Street railroad crossings in downtown Sioux City will go into effect at 12 a.m. on January 30, 2026.

2026 Faces of Siouxland Multicultural Fair
The 35th annual Faces of Siouxland Multicultural Fair will take place on Sunday, March 29, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sioux City Convention Center.

Pet License Renewal & Vaccination Clinics
2026 pet license tags are available at Sioux City Animal Adoption and Rescue, the Customer Service Center in City Hall, and at participating veterinarians’ offices. All pet licenses expire on December 31 of the license year.
