City Facilities Remain Closed to Public
The Governor’s proclamation on May 6 outlines the reopening of businesses in the State of Iowa, including Woodbury County, however, City of Sioux City facilities including City Hall, offices and park amenities will continue to remain closed to the general public until further notice.
Waiving of Late Fees Extended to June 30 for Utilities and Parking Fines
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Customer Service Center had previously waived all late penalties and fees for utility bills and parking fines through May 31, 2020. Fines and penalties will now be waived through June 30, 2020.
Certain Parks and Recreational Facilities to Open June 1
Sioux City Parks and Recreation will begin a phased reopening of Bacon Creek Dog Park, Cook Park Skate Park, all public tennis courts and athletic league fields beginning June 1.
