Sealed bids will be received by the City of Sioux City Purchasing Manager, in the Purchasing Office located on Fourth Floor, Room 408 in City Hall, 405 Sixth Street, in Sioux City Iowa, until 3:00 p.m., Local Time, September 30, 2025 for materials for traffic signal upgrades.
Bids received will be opened and tabulated at a public meeting, presided over by the City Purchasing Manager, in the 4th Floor Purchasing Office, City Hall, at 3:00 p.m., Local Time, on September 30, 2025. Thereafter, bids will be acted upon by the City Council at such time and place as may be fixed.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. However, the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities that may be in the best interest of the City
All materials shall be ordered no later than November 15, 2025
Specifications for this project shall be the 2025 version of the Iowa Statewide Urban Standard Specifications for Public Improvements modified in accordance with the 2024 version of the City of Sioux City Supplement.
The “Utilization of Targeted Small Business (TSB) Enterprises on Non-Federal Aid Projects (Third-Party State Assisted Project),“ will apply and is hereby made a part of the project. There is not an identified TSB project goal, however the proposer is expected to promote participation with documented efforts to be submitted with the bid proposal per the specifications. The TSB forms must be submitted by bidders.
