Museum Announces Summer Hours

Make downtown Sioux City your after-work destination on Thursday evenings with the Downtown Live concert series and extended hours for the Sioux City Public Museum.

The Sioux City Public Museum will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evenings from June 7 through August 16 during the 2018 Downtown Live concert series, announced Steve Hansen, Museum director today. There will not be a concert on June 14 and July 5 due to Awesome Biker Nights and Saturday in the Park respectively.

The Downtown Live concerts will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the green space in front of the Museum. The Museum’s summer exhibits include The Chicago Origins of the Courthouse and Modernism’s Messengers: The Art of Alfonso and Margaret Iannelli on display through August 19 and Traditional Arts of the Bedouin from June 16 to August 5.

The Sioux City Public Museum, 607 4th Street, is regularly open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.
