Perry Creek Trail Connection Project Public Input Meeting
The Sioux City Parks and Recreation Department will host a public meeting on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 405 6th Street, 5th Floor Council Chambers, to review and seek public input on the construction the Perry Creek Trail Connection Project.
The proposed trail connection will consist of the construction of an 8-foot wide trail along Hamilton Boulevard from Stone Park Boulevard to 36th Street/County Club North (a distance of approximately 2,800 LF). The project will also include the construction of 5-foot wide bicycle lanes on each side of the Hamilton Boulevard from 36th Street/County Club North to Outer Drive North (a distance of approximately 4,400 LF). The project will construct Sioux City’s first designated bicycle lanes.
The Parks and Recreation staff, along with consultants from Snyder and Associates, Inc., will present and discuss the proposed trail route for public input. The project has not yet been programmed for construction.
The public is invited to attend. Questions may be directed to the Parks and Recreation Department at 712-279-6126 or visit the Sioux City Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
