Leeds Connector Trail Project Open House

The Sioux City Parks and Recreation Department will host an Open House from 7 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at City Hall, 405 6th Street, 5th Floor City Council Chambers to present information on the proposed Leeds Connector Trail Project.

At the open house, residents can visit with project engineers from JEO Consulting Group, Inc. and Parks and Recreation staff to learn more about the trail project.

Project highlights include: construction of 2,200 feet recreational trail from Jefferson Street northeast (along an abandoned railroad corridor) to the intersection of Floyd Boulevard and Central Street. The Project will include a crossing at Floyd Boulevard that will connect the trail to Leeds Park at 41st Street and Central Street and include connections to the Floyd River and Outer Dive Trail system.
