Museum Show and Tell Program
Have any unusual postcards with interesting stories behind them? Bring them to the upcoming installment of the Sioux City Public Museum’s Show and Tell series, which features “Darold Sea’s Postcard Collection” on Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m.
The Sioux Cityan built his postcard collection over the last forty years – twice! After deciding to end his collecting days several years ago, Sea sold 150,000 postcards and two weeks later started collecting again. He’ll share a few examples from his collection and discuss details about postcards brought from the audience.
The program is free and open to the public. The Sioux City Public Museum is located at 607 4th Street in downtown Sioux City. For more information, call 712-279-6174 or visit siouxcitymuseum.org.
