Landlord Property Manager's Workshop
The Sioux City Human Rights Commission will be sponsoring a workshop for individuals wanting to learn about rights and responsibilities of property management. The 4-hour workshop will be held at the Sioux City Public Museum on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and will cover topics pertinent to good practice. Spokespersons from Iowa Legal Aid, Sioux City Housing Authority and Sioux City Human Rights Commission will present material regarding current federal, state and local policy for property managers and tenants. Experts will be on hand to answer questions after presenting. Topics include evictions, companion animals, rental assistance, access and more.
The cost of the event is $50 per person with discounts available to groups. Please inquire about scholarships.
Preregistration is required by calling 712-279-6985 before April 8. The event will be held from 10 am - 3 pm in the Museum Meeting Room at 607 4th Street. A lunch will be provided.
