Kite Flying Fun on the Riverfront
Free popcorn, kite flying and a scavenger hunt highlight an afternoon of fun on the grounds of the Sergeant Floyd River Museum and & Welcome Center on April 20 from 1 to 3 p.m.
In honor of Kite Flying Month in April, the public is invited to bring their kites and lawn chairs down to the riverfront. Scavenger hunt sheets will be available at the Welcome Center. Those completing the hunt will receive a prize.
The Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center is located on the riverfront at 1000 Larsen Park Road, Exit 149, Sioux City. It is a site of the Sioux City Public Museum. This event is part of series of activities on the riverfront in 2019 as the Welcome Center celebrates its 30th year in May.
