  • Waiving of Late Fees Extended to June 30 for Utilities and Parking Fines

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Customer Service Center had previously waived all late penalties and fees for utility bills and parking fines through May 31, 2020. Fines and penalties will now be waived through June 30, 2020.

    The Woodbury County Conservation Board announces that CAMPGROUNDS WILL OPEN on May 21 at 6:00 a.m. to self-contained camper units. No tents will be allowed. Restrooms and shower facilities, cabins, enclosed shelters, playgrounds, offices and Nature Center will remain closed.

  • NAIA Announces Extensions to Championship Hosts Affected by COVID-19

    Due to the 2020 NAIA Women’s Division II Basketball Championship not being completed in March because of COVID-19, the NAIA has extended their agreement with Sioux City. We will now host the NAIA Women’s Basketball National Championship through 2025 at the Tyson Events Center.

    The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that it will extend its agreement with Sioux City, Iowa and the Tyson Events Center to remain the host of the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship through the 2024 season.

  • COVID-19 Updates for Woodbury County - May 12

    Siouxland District Health Department is reporting a higher than anticipated number of COVID-19 positive cases today, with 314 newly reported confirmed cases. Most of these positives are a result of targeted testing of meat packing plant workers conducted in Nebraska at the end of April.
