  • Fireworks in Sioux City - 2025

    Fireworks are ONLY permitted July 3 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. and July 4 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. Residents are asked to respect their neighbors as the sound of fireworks can trigger post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for veterans and cause pets to become anxious.

    Work on a new mural in the West 7th Street area will begin on May 17, 2025. The mural will focus on music and the importance of volunteering and being present within a community.
