  • National Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

  • Mayor's Youth Commission Recognizes Young Ambassadors

    The Sioux City Mayor’s Youth Commission honored nearly 40 students in grades 4-7 as Young Ambassadors last night at its annual recognition event. The Young Ambassadors program honors students who demonstrate the six pillars of character in both school and the community.

  • 11th Street Closure

    The City of Sioux City Engineering Division announces the closure of 11th Street from Clark Street to Steuben Street. This closure will allow a private contractor to perform work within the roadway. This closure will begin at 7 AM on Monday, May 6, 2019 and end at 7 PM the following day, May 7, 2019

  • Exhibit Highlights 100 Years of Municipal Bands

    The 2019 summer concert series of the Sioux City Municipal Band marks the organization’s 100th year. In recognition of this milestone, the Sioux City Public Museum will feature the summer exhibit, Celebrating 100 Years of Municipal Bands, on display May 4 through July 28.

  • Wesley Parkway Sidewalks Closed Through May 23

    Sidewalk along Wesley Parkway starting from the north end of the Siouxland Veterans Memorial Bridge ending at 3rd Street and along 3rd Street from Wesley Parkway to the west end of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino’s south parking lot will be closed April 29 - May 23.

  • 2018 Paving Patch Project Stage 1: 21st Street and Court Street Intersection

    The City of Sioux City announces the closure of the 21st Street and Court Street Intersection. The closure will allow the City’s contractor to complete patching work at this location.
