The Gjilan Kosovo (pronounced GEE-lahn or jill-AHN KOH-soh-voh) Sister City Committee will work toward the enhancement of quality of life in Sioux City and Gjilan; will promote city exchanges in a variety of areas, such as culture, education, arts, and economy; and will cultivate a relationship based on mutual trust and respect with Gjilan, Kosovo.

| Membership Requirements: | Members of this committee shall broadly be a representative of the community-at-large and a member who, by virtue of their background, education and experience, have demonstrated their ability to accept responsibility, to use prudent judgment and have shown a sincere interest in the Kosovo culture. |
