The Wastewater Treatment Plant Reconstruction and Design Advisory Committee will advise the City Council on concerns by users during the design stages of the Wastewater Treatment Plant reconstruction to ensure that all factors are being considered in the design and sizing of the Plant and to ensure that rates in place are adjusted to meet the financial needs for the reconstruction.

| Membership Requirements: | The Advisory Committee at full strength will consist of no more than fifteen members to be appointed by the City Council. The members appointed by the City Council shall be the Lead Project Manager of the selected Engineering Firm, five (5) citizens of the City of Sioux City, six (6) members of the Major Industrial Users; one (1) member of the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce; four (4) representatives of the Sister Cities, one (1) member of The Siouxland Initiative, and one (1) independent Wastewater Engineer. The City Manager, Utilities Director, Finance Director, Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager, Mayor, and one (1) member of the City Council will serve as City staff representatives. |
