The City of Sioux City Environmental Advisory Board is a nine-member board whose mission is to promote environmentally sound practices, plan for the preservation of our community’s natural resources for future generations, and educate community members on environmental topics, including solid waste reduction, recycling, stormwater pollution, and other pertinent environmental issues such as ecosystem awareness, energy efficiency, and systems-based approaches to sustainability.
The board meets on the second Thursday of every month. Meetings are open to the public. Upcoming meeting agendas can be found on the City's home page under Government-> Boards and Commissions section.
