EMT / Paramedic

Basic EMT / AEMT Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Graduation from High School or a General Educational Development (GED) required.
• Must provide verification of current certificate from the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Must provide verification of certification as a State of Iowa or Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician

Paramedic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Graduation from High School or a General Educational Development (GED) required.
• Must provide verification of current certificate from the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Possess current National Registry or State of Iowa Paramedic Certification, OR possess a current EMT certification AND be enrolled in a paramedic program.
