Due to significant growth Innovative Benefit Consultants, IBC Insurance, and IBC Administrators recently moved into their new corporate headquarters at 412 Water Street in the newly restored Historic Pearl District in Downtown Sioux City. The community is invited to a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, May 16 at 4:00 p.m. followed by an open house until 6:00 p.m. at 412 Water Street.

Stuart Lee, Principal, bought the former Lakeland Engineering building in 2010 and began remodeling in the summer of 2011. “As a locally owned business we strongly believe in investing in the Siouxland community. We are very proud to be a part of this community and wanted to show our commitment to Siouxland. With the help of the City of Sioux City Economic Development Team we were successful in securing funds to make this project a reality.”

The combined companies of Innovative Benefit Consultants, IBC Insurance, and IBC Administrators provide consulting and brokering services in all areas of insurance including property, casualty, personal lines, employee benefits, and other services. As an independent agency they have access to virtually all carriers but they are much more than your typical insurance agency. They also provide real solutions to keep insurance and benefit costs down over the long term including safety and wellness programs.

Innovative Benefit Consultants opened in 2005 with two employees and quickly began adding employees and services. In 2009 Rob Heller joined the agency as a partner in the property & casualty division (IBC Insurance). The combined companies currently have 10 employees.
